Innovative foods and beverages seen at SIAL in Paris

From October 17-21, foodspring.com’s editors saw some of the most innovative foods and beverages from around the world at the SIAL Global Food Marketplace in Paris, a biannual exhibition of products from nearly 5,600 companies.  

Here are 15 of the most interesting goods we found:

Gold Limonade Dessert Cream with Speculoos

1. Armor Proteines Lactosalt, a salt substitute made from a concentration of milk minerals; armor-proteines.com.

2. Badat Clement & Co. Les Jamelles Rare & Antique wines made from heirloom or little-known grapes; badetclement.com.

3. Castaing Foie Gras Initiation au Foie Gras, a starter kit for consumers new to foie gras. Comes with three varieties and a tasting booklet; castaing-foiegras.com. (right)

9. Peter Keogh & Sons Selena potatoes from Ireland, farm-grown potatoes enriched with selenium; selena.ie.
