Kitchen Table Bakers - Aged Parmesan Crisps

2011 Gold Award Winner: Outstanding Shelf-Stable Foodservice Product
user rating
5.0 out of 5 stars(1)

Founder Barry Novick had such confidence in his all-cheese crisps that he ditched his long-term career in 2003 to spread the word (and flavors) of his creation.

The first crisp in his line of eight flavors of pure aged cheeses, Aged Parmesan entered the foodservice segment two years ago. It has since become a menu component at Brooklyn, N.Y., steakhouse Peter Luger and The Palace Hotel and Cafeteria in New York City.

With renowned restaurants like these, who wouldn’t want these addictive crisps in their home pantry? Its cracker-like crunch and pure cheese flavor make this unique treat not only a tasty snack, but a creative ingredient too. Being sugar-, wheat- and gluten-free, it also passes plenty of dietary tests.

Try the rest of the line once you’re hooked: Italian Herb, Flax Seed, Garlic, Sesame, Rosemary, Everything and Jalapeño. Kitchen Table Bakers offers a bevy of recipes to play around with the variety of flavors.—Nicole Potenza Denis

How to Enjoy It: Crumble it atop a Caesar salad, serve it as a base for hors d’oeuvres or use it as a bed for a poached egg at breakfast.

MSRP: $5.99/3 oz. package
