Asia

Asia is the world's largest and most populous continent and is home to more than four billion people, or 60 percent of the globe’s current population. It comprises 37 countries in the regions of Eastern, Western, Central, South and Southeastern Asia, plus Russia. In the U.S., the term Asian cuisine is usually used for the foods of east and southeast Asian, such as China, Thailand and Japan. India, the Middle East and Central Asia, of course, have their own diverse food scenes, most of which are gaining increasingly global recognition.
