Basil-Sage-Walnut Pesto

Fresh pesto is easy to buy, but it’s almost as simple—and far more satisfying—to make. Try out this basil sage walnut pesto recipe.

Serves: 12

Ingredients:

3/4 cup fresh basil leaves, tightly packed

3/4 cup fresh sage leaves, tightly packed

1 garlic clove, chopped

1 teaspoon

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup Parmigiano Reggiano, freshly grated Black pepper to taste

Method:

Purée basil leaves, sage leaves, garlic clove, sea salt and walnuts in blender or food processor. Add oil and blend until well combined. Add Parmigiano Reggiano and blend. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
