Cleveland, Ohio, is home to Hodge Podge, a truck that brings Midwestern comfort food to a new level of indulgence. Whether you go for the Hodge Podge Dawg, the Chix’n’Waffles or the famous tater tots, these goodies will go down smooth with a grown-up Beer Float. For the ice cream component, try Swirlberry’sDolci Gelati’s Tahitian Vanilla or French Vanilla. For the beer, try Rogue Chocolate Stout or Dogfish Head’s World Wide Stout.

Ingredients:

½ cup vanilla ice cream (or other complementary flavor)
Chocolate or other stout

Method:

Fill one-half to two-thirds of a soda fountain glass (or any tall glass) with stout. Drop in a large scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy with a straw and/or spoon.
