Kazakhstan accounts for most of the Central Asian region, which also includes smaller countries like Uzbekistan and Armenia. The cuisine of Central Asian countries shares more in common with that of its Eastern European neighbors, than with other Asian regions. Tradition is at the heart of the food culture, which revolves around meat, dairy and bread.
