Citrus Ice Pops

FoodieMom Nicole Denis and daughter Gianna have been indulging in New York City’s latest ice cream shops. But, on bad-weather days, they offer a recipe for citrus pops.

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

½ cup water
¼ cup sugar
½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
¼ cup of orange or grapefruit juice
1 teaspoon vanilla

Special Equipment: Ice pop trays

Method:

1. Melt sugar and water together on stovetop then add remainder of ingredients.
2. Let cool and pour into ice pop trays. Freeze overnight.
