Eastern Asia

user rating
0.0 out of 5 stars(0)

Eastern Asia is a vast region that includes China, Japan and Korea. Food has always been an important part of East Asian culture and tradition. As the region becomes more and more modernized, the cuisines have evolved as well, but are still supported by the traditional staples. In China, those staples are rice and noodles, whereas Japan’s geography insists on a seafood-centered diet. In North and South Korea, a myriad of dishes with vegetables and tofu will surely satiate any appetite.—Alexandra Menglide
