Flax Seed Aged- Parmesan Crisps with Goat Cheese, Fig and Prosciutto Spread

A quick and easy appetizer spread for the holiday and event gatherings featuring goat cheese, flax seed parmesan crisps, fig and prosciutto.

2012 Finalist Product Used in this Recipe: Flax Seed Parmesan Crisp

 

Serves: 8

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

8 oz. goat cheese
½ cup cream (or Half & Half)
1 Tbsp honey
2 strips prosciutto, cut into small pieces (or Soy Bacon Bits)
4 ripe green figs, cut into small pieces
1-2 Packages Kitchen Table Aged Parmesan Cheese Crisps

Method:

1. In a bowl, combine goat cheese, cream and honey and whip with a spatula until smooth.

2. Add prosciutto and mix until incorporated. (or soy bacon bit)

3. Gently fold in the figs.

4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.

5. When ready to serve, use a teaspoon to scoop a ball of the cheese and fig mixture onto the center of each Parmesan crisp and arrange in a serving platter and serve.
