Free Gelato on the Road
Ciao Bella’s Discover-Savor-Share sampling tour.
user ratingThere’s a new ice cream truck crisscrossing the country, and it’s doling out one million free samples of its 3.5-ounce artisanal gelato and sorbet. That’s right—free! Ciao Bella, an award-winning gelato maker in New York City, loaded up its brightly colored mobile, nicknamed the Ciao Bella Swirl, for its Discover-Savor-Share 2009 sampling tour. It will offer its most popular and award-winning flavors, including blood orange sorbet, coconut sorbet, blackberry cabernet sorbet, pistachio gelato, maple ginger snap gelato and vanilla gelato. In addition to several stops in California and North Carolina, the tour will visit stores in Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island and other states through September.
