More affordable options.
user ratingAs consumers look to spend less, more affordable eateries are popping up like Bobby Flay's chain of fast-casual burger joints called Bobby's Burger Palace. The first 74-seat restaurant opened recently in the New York City suburb of Lake Grove, N.Y. The menu offers ten signature burgers that reflect different regional tastes such as the Santa Fe Burger, which comes with queso sauce, roasted green chiles and blue corn chips, and the Philadelphia Burger, made with provolone cheese, griddled onions and hot peppers. Lines are sure to form, but there will be little pain for your wallet with a prices range from $6.50 to $7.50. All burgers are prepared with Angus beef and served on soft potato rolls. For no extra charge, you can get your burger topped with potato chips. Just ask them to "crunchify" it for you. The menu has enough variety to please your other cravings with sandwiches, sides, salads, milk shakes, wine by the glass, beer and frozen margaritas. Just don't expect to be waited on: The fast-casual-style of service means you place your order at a central counter and the plated items are delivered to your tables.
