Jelly Beans Gone Wild
A basket full of Easter joys, like chili mango and centipede-flavored.
user ratingAlthough Easter has come and gone, you still have a chance to discover some pretty untraditional new flavors from Jelly Belly’s U.K. division. Among the company’s 50 official flavors, a handful of seasonal ones (such as candy cane) and ten sour flavors, are some downright odd varieties—like the centipede-flavored jelly bean, voted the worst tasting of the bunch. Rookies (how the company refers to new flavors being tested in the market) run the gamut from chili mango to the Sports Bean, an easy way to get a sugar rush as well as a hit of carbohydrates, vitamins and electrolytes.
Next year the line will be expanded to include caffeine-enhanced jelly beans as well as pomegranate, green tea and dark chocolate, which sound like they’re almost good for you.
