Whether you are a fan of American film icon Kevin Bacon or just a lover of bacon, this week’s eBay auction is for you. By bidding to win a bacon-encrusted bust of the actor (a Bacon Kevin Bacon), you can help kids with cancer. The bidding, which ends on October 8, started at $365, and as of posting, more than 30 bids have been placed. The goal is to raise $10,000 for Ashley’s Team, a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization created by Dave Lefkow, co-owner of J&D Foods, the bust’s creator, when his daughter was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 4. Ashley’s Team has a simple mission—to bring joy to childhood cancer patients and their families.

The bust, which is 14 inches tall, is made entirely of bacon and bacon bits, but isn’t edible, as it’s been coated with lacquer. Even so, it will be quite the conversation piece. Its creator, J&D’s Foods, is the manufacturer of Bacon Salt, Kevin Bacon made of Bacon Gallery OpeningBaconnaise, BaconPOP, Bacon Ranch, Bacon Lip Balm, Mmmvelopes, and What Do Bacon Do?, a Seattle, Wash.-based creative project. The bust will be shipped to the winner in a protective case made of wood and painted black with “BKB” monogrammed in bacon-themed letters.

If you’re not the winner, you can still purchase handmade bacon dolls that are approximately 6 inches long by 2 inches wide with flexible arms and legs, or J&D’s Everything Gift Pack, which includes a taste of J&D’s Foods’ product line.
