British rocker Sting is making more than music these days. The 57-year-old ex-frontman for The Police has been busy in the biodynamic vineyards at his Tuscan home, a 900-acre estate called Il Palagio, 45 minutes southeast of Florence, near the town of Figline Valdarno.

Some 30,000 bottles of wine produced on the property will go on sale this September. Although the names of the wine are being kept secret, sources at the estate say there will be a 2007 vintage based on the Sangiovese grape with a touch of Cabernet and a Merlot-both made traditionally, without the use of pesticides. There is also rumor of a 2008 Chianti.  The wine is the latest addition made on Sting's organic farm. Other products, which are sold at Harrods in London, include organic olive oil and honey.--Nicole Denis
