Muffaletta
user ratingA unique cheese made using Manzanilla olives, garlic and pimento, similar to the famous New Orleans recipe.
Crowley Cheese is the oldest continuously operating cheese factory in the U.S. The Crowleys started making cheese in their farm kitchen in 1824. Then in 1882, they built the present-day factory--a popular tourist destination that’s listed on the National Historic Register. Crowley Cheese is an old fashioned Colby-style cheese with a creamy texture and an earthy "farmhouse" flavor. It’s made entirely by hand using fresh, all-natural hormone-free raw cow's milk from a local Vermont farm. It is then carefully aged from two months to more than two years, developing a distinctive sharpness around a year or so.
