Peaceful Flying

Relax in the skies... without booze.

If you’re anxious when flying—and don’t want to dull your nerves with a hard drink—try Peaceful Remedies’ RelaxZen Day Flight and RelaxZen Night Flight. With a blend of vitamins, herbs, extracts and amino acids that work in conjunction with the body, RelaxZen claims to relieve stress from flying without drowsiness. Night Flight, which is formulated for long hauls such as overseas or red eye flights, contains the additional ingredients of melatonin, valerian root extract and chamomile to induce sleep and help prevent jet lag. Look for the products exclusively at airport shops, on airlines and through other air travel outlets.

Nick West, chief relaxation officer of Peaceful Remedies, was inspired to create RelaxZen because he gets nervous when flying. He says, “When I take RelaxZen I can just settle in and enjoy my flight.” Brent Sonnek-Schmelz, co-owner and chief zen officer of the company, was the inspiration for Night Flight, as he considers himself a “road warrior,” who needs to be alert and functioning when he lands. Keep track of their peaceful travels on Facebook and Twitter.—Denise Shoukas
