Making the tasting and judging of more than 1,650 products run seamlessly takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work. Louise Kramer, NASFT’s communications director and Ron Tanner, vice president, communications, run the sofi Awards from the planning stages all the way to the announcement of the Gold Winners at the Summer Fancy Food Show. In addition, the 2011 sofi staff includes Chef Mike Deuel; Sous Chef Alistair Smith; Steward Julie Nealon-Newby; Culinary Manager Bruce Tanner; Project Manager Marilyn O’Hara (top left); and sofi staffers Fran Curiazza, Quentin Brown, Russell Kolody, Brenda Brohn.
