Southern Europe

user rating
0.0 out of 5 stars(0)

Southern Europe is an incredibly diverse region, spanning from Southern Spain all the way to the South Slavic countries and the Turkish peninsula. The cuisine of these countries would be impossible to generalize. Each nation’s diet features a wide-range of flavors, from Mediterranean to Asian, depending on the country’s location and cultural ties. The warm weather and fertile soil common to most Southern European countries provides perfect conditions for growing certain foods that define dining in the region.—Alexandra Menglide
