Famous tattoo artist Ed Hardy—who has a loyal following of celebrities like David Beckham, Britney Spears, P. Diddy and Madonna—is giving wine labels a new, edgy look with Ed Hardy Wines. The mastermind behind the concept is Christian Audigier, known as the King of Fashion whose clothes are magnets for celebrities worldwide. Audigier, who bought Ed Hardy’s tattoo portfolio years ago and then created a hip line of t-shirts and accessories, is now taking on a line of beverages whose look will knock the status quo on its side.

The wines and sparkling wines, produced in Bordeaux by Castel Group, are available in a number of varietals—Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Rose and Pinot Grigio, as well as two Methode Traditionelle sparkling wine with small bubblies—Blanc de Blancs and Rose—and a bottled Sangria. (They’re imported by Luneau USA Inc., Westport, Ct.) All of the beverages sell for $9.99 and are available in 48 states, including at some Whole Foods Markets. Each varietal dons a new Ed Hardy tattoo image. Visit edhardybeverages.com to see more.—Denise Shoukas
